What goes wrong at a party in Ede, and how I handle it

  From the first email to the packing away you have one point of contact: me. I agree the running order with the venue, the caterer and the master of ceremonies.

Parties in Ede

Parties on the Veluwe often take place at outdoor venues and on country estates, where three things make or break the evening: power, weather and the curfew. I have all three confirmed in advance in the booking confirmation, not out of formality, but because they are exactly the points that get argued over afterwards.

Along the A30 the drive takes me about half an hour. The outlying villages are five to fifteen minutes further on, over quieter roads. Send the exact address and I will plan my departure time around it.

An outdoor party on the Veluwe is a fine thing as long as it stays dry, and a well-organised one when it does not. My equipment always stands under a tent, a canopy or a roof, and we agree beforehand who is responsible if the weather turns.
